That’s right it’s birthday season again in our house. It runs from June which is Lainey’s birthday until it ends in November with the boys birthdays. For the first time ever Lainey was in school on her birthday. The last day of elementary school career also fell on her 10th birthday. I was seriously like a non stop party day for her.
Fifth grade starts middle school at ASH (The American School of The Hague) so at the end of fourth grade they literally cross a bridge into the Middle School. It’s pretty cool and symbolic for them.

After school got out we picked up Aunt Kelsey from the train station (Hint, hint the kids LOVE visitors no matter how short they visit us for) then celebrated the end of the year/Lainey’s birthday at where else but Luciano’s the best ice cream in The Netherlands. Guess if you are used to Blue Bell you go for the best. After that it was off to Bubbel Jungle, no it is not spelled wrong just Dutch. An indoor play area with trampolines, a pit of giant Legos, swings, air hockey, playgrounds. Of course we had to go for Lainey’s birthday since Caitlyn’s in coming up and Bubbel Jungle is on for those under 13.
