Monday was a holiday so we thought we would plan a family day. James took the day off and we headed down to the Zoo. We met up with Robert and his family and had a picnic and spent the afternoon at the Zoo. The kids had a blast pushing each other around in the wagons. today it was an early release day from school so I let the girls each invite a friend over to have a little Halloween party. I think that Halloween is the best holiday for making fun and yummy treats. I made 5 dozen sugar cookies last night and 3 dozen cupcakes this morning and let the kids have a good time with a bunch of frosting and candies. The big girls made ghosts with white chocolate and loved getting a sepreate big kid project.  Enjoy!!
